Browse the visual record of alchemy across 15 source works (324 plates total). Atalanta Fugiens is the centre of this site's scholarly apparatus — the other galleries surround it as comparison material. Click any tile to open that gallery; from inside each work-page you can drill into the visual element browser to see how its imagery overlaps with the rest of the corpus.
How to compare — every plate is auto-tagged with its visual elements (dragons, lions, athanors, calcinations …). On the Visual Browser you can pin a tag and watch every emblem book light up; on the Stages pages you can compare nigredo plates from Atalanta against nigredo plates from Splendor Solis and Aurora Consurgens. Most non-Atalanta images are served via the sister project AlchemyBeatEmUp (the original engravings, never the pixelated game-asset versions).
