E12. Prophecy, Universal Reform, And The Fate Of Rome - Subsections. The angels deliver or encourage expectations of religious and political transformation.

Summary

The angels deliver or encourage expectations of religious and political transformation. Rome, Constantinople, rulers, and the reform of Christendom become part of the discourse. The material blends apocalyptic expectation with geopolitical imagination. This is the section most closely aligned with Harkness's argument that apocalypse and natural philosophy are inseparable in Dee's project.
