Bibliography

This bibliography is not a simple reading list. It is the site's map of the scholarly field: a structured record of primary sources, direct Hypnerotomachia scholarship, and related studies that help explain the book's material form, reception, imagery, and interpretive traditions. Entries are grouped so that readers can distinguish the core literature from the wider scholarly surround.

Because bibliography is one of the project's main trust surfaces, this section places emphasis on review state, collection status, and data hygiene.
