Thesis 6.4
Latin
Pater et filius non solum duo spirantes, sed etiam duo spiratores dici possunt.
English
The Father and the Son may be called not only two spirating Persons, but two spirators as such.
'spirantes'/'spiratores': the participial and substantive forms of 'to spirate' (breathe forth) the Holy Spirit; Thomas accepted the former but not the latter, fearing it implied too sharp a distinction of Persons (Farmer's note, farmer1998:12761). Sense checked against farmer1998:12741.
