Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463–1494) was an Italian Renaissance philosopher.

Scholarly Significance

In his Oration on the Dignity of Man, Pico famously synthesized Hermeticism with Christian Kabbalah and Neoplatonism, arguing that magic and Kabbalah were the highest validations of the Christian faith.
