REVIEWED HIGH SEED_DATA

One of the 22 connecting lines on the Tree of Life, each corresponding to a Major Arcana card.

The 22 paths connect the ten Sephiroth on the Tree of Life. Each path corresponds to one of the 22 Hebrew letters and one of the 22 Major Arcana cards. The path system was established by Mathers in Book T (c. 1891), building on Eliphas Levi's initial Hebrew letter correlations (1855). The Fool = Aleph = Path 11 (Kether to Chokmah).

Significance

The path system is the conceptual bridge between tarot and Kabbalah. It transforms the Major Arcana from a sequence of pictures into a map of consciousness.
