Mathers's secret Golden Dawn document establishing tarot-Kabbalah-astrology correspondences.

'Book T: A Description of the Cards of the Tarot with their Attributions,' written by S.L. MacGregor Mathers c. 1891 and circulated within the Golden Dawn. Establishes correspondences between all 78 cards and Hebrew letters, Tree of Life paths, astrological signs/planets, and elemental attributions. The foundational document of modern esoteric tarot.

Significance

Every subsequent esoteric deck — RWS, Thoth, BOTA, Golden Dawn Tarot — derives its correspondence system from Book T. Mathers synthesized Levi's Hebrew letter system with Paul Christian's astrological assignments into a unified Kabbalistic-astrological framework.
