This September 2017 clipping coincides with the release of Blade Runner 2049 (October 6, 2017), the long-awaited sequel to the 1982 film based on Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Vancouver's connection to Dick through the 1972 convention and its role as a major film production center make it a natural site for coverage of the Blade Runner franchise. The timing strongly suggests this clipping relates to Blade Runner 2049 publicity or a retrospective on Dick's work.
