B6. Invocations And Orations - Subsections. The practical heart of the work consists of prayers and invocations to the heptarchical powers.

Summary

The practical heart of the work consists of prayers and invocations to the heptarchical powers. These texts combine praise of God, address to angelic offices, and petitions for specific forms of aid. Dee's procedure is devotional and hierarchical: God authorizes angelic action, and the operator petitions rather than coerces.
