Note, because 1 have found so much halting and untruth in E.K. his reports to me made, of the spiritual creatures, where I have not been present at an Action: and because his memory may fail him, and because he was subject to ill tempters, 1 believe so much hereof as shall by better trial be found true, or conformable to truth. Note, E.K. had this day divers apparitions unto him in his own chamber, and instructions in divers matters which he regarded not, but remained Il 218 Il
