Tristan and Iseult

Summary
Originally an independent Celtic story of a love-potion, a king's nephew and a queen, absorbed into the Arthurian orbit by the thirteenth-century Prose Tristan and thence into Malory, where Tristram gets a book of his own. The affair is the structural rhyme for Lancelot and Guinevere, and the older of the two.
