- Summary
- George a Green, the pinder (pound-keeper) of Wakefield, fights Robin, Scarlet and Little John simultaneously and holds them off. Child 124. The Forresters Manuscript copies it twice, which is why that manuscript is counted as both 21 ballads and 22 texts.
