Arthur & Robin

Matter of the Greenwood Figure

Sir Guy of Gisborne

Summary
The bounty hunter in a horse-hide who hunts Robin and is beheaded for it. Robin mutilates the face with an Irish knife so it cannot be identified, sets the head on his bow-end, and wears Guy's hide as a disguise. The single most useful scene for demonstrating how unlike the modern legend the medieval one is.
