Summary
Robin kills the bounty hunter Guy, mutilates his face with an Irish knife so it cannot be recognised, mounts the head on his bow, and wears Guy's horse-hide to deceive the Sheriff while Little John kills the Sheriff with an arrow. Child 118. The most violent surviving text and the one modern adaptations never use.
